- 01No. All sitters and nannies affiliated with Surprise Sitters, LLC are considered independent contractors or employees of the client (the family) when hired as a nanny.
- 02We recommend contacting us 1-2 months before you would need the nanny to start. However, if you would like to have the consultation before the baby arrives, we would be more than happy to speak with you then.
- 03Yes! We offer 90 day guarantee replacement for permanent (full-time) placements and 30 day guarantee replacement for permanent (temporary) placements.
- 04The placement process can take 2-6 weeks. However, families may find their perfect nanny in a week or it may take longer. The exact timeframe is dependent on the family.
- 05We take a thorough approach when vetting and screening our sitters and nannies, and you can learn how by clicking here.
- 06We recommend contacting us at least 30 days prior to the event date.
- 07You can pay your sitter directly through Venmo, Zelle or Cash App at the end of their shift with an option to tip.
