Our Team
Surprise Sitters, LLC was founded by Gabriell Garner and Lisa Reid, two passionate moms with over a decade of experience in the nanny industry. Their love and dedication for providing fun experiences for children and helping families prompted the start of Surprise Sitters, LLC.
Lisa Reid, Co-Founder
Lisa is a fun and loving person with a vivacious personality. Her affinity for children has placed her in the childcare industry for over 20 years. Her childcare experience began in the classroom when she worked as an elementary school teacher. After 8 years of teaching, Lisa had the opportunity to become a governess and to work as a nanny for high profile families in Washington, DC and the Atlanta Metro area. Lisa's passion for children and reading led her to becoming an author of three children books (Dinner For Breakfast). Lisa is a mother and entrepreneur who has gained excellent childcare experience with children of all ages, and enjoys assisting families, training sitters, and nannies to become the best childcare providers that they can be.

Gabriell Garner, Co-Founder
Gabriell has been in the childcare industry for over 15 years. Her childcare experience started when she worked as a lead infants and toddlers teacher and community coordinator, before transitioning to a full-time nanny. Her enthusiasm and passion for children led her to working with many families throughout the DMV. She is
a newborn care specialist and the owner of The Flourishing Mama Co. As the mom of a growing toddler, Gabriell understands the anxiety that comes with the entire
process of seeking childcare— whether inside or outside the home; and as a nanny, she understands the expectations of helping busy families, making her a great asset to ensuring quality placements.
